The Spokane River flows from Lake Coeur d' Alene, through Post Falls Idaho into Spokane as it flows on through Washington. In Post Falls there is a large park, Q'uemlin Park that sits on the shore of the river. The park has a nice beach area, hiking trails, and rock climbing to enjoy. Boating to Lake Coeur d' Alene from Post Falls is approximately 10 minutes.
Post Falls was named after Fredrick Post, an immigrant who relocated to the area in 1871, who developed a sawmill on the shores of the river. The previous site of the sawmill is within walking distance of our beautiful condo!
